For sale is a beautiful vintage LUDWIG stainless steel tom drum.
Stainless Steel shell, sought after
John Bonham
size: 16” (across) x 14.5” (tall)
Bonham played exclusively on Ludwig drums for the duration of his career in Led Zeppelin.

The stainless shell is in overall great shape. One small ding,
not very big or deep and
almost impossible to find.
No rust, no dents, a couple minor scuffs. A
lot of people claim that they can buff off the light markings. The bearing
edges are round, and drum head spins smoothly on both sides.
Batter head is Original

Overall hardware are in good shape: lugs are nice, some have light scuffs.
The drum rims are in good shape. The tension screws are tight but new owner will probably need to tune the drum to
their preference.
The drum has been recently cleaned and polished. The lugs have been lubricated with White Lithium grease.

The stainless steel drums are much heavier than drums made of other materials. And these shells cannot take any impact during shipping.
That’s why the measurements for shipping are quite large but they are actual and I always pack them with a lot of caution to make sure no
damage could be done by carriers. This drum will be completely bubble wrapped, double boxed and boxes lined with styrofoam.
