Description
High temperature grease for car brake systems.PROPERTIES:
- Wide temperature range: from -50 ° С to + 1000 ° С;
- Anti-corrosion properties;
- Protection of parts of the brake system from burning;
- Protection of rubber parts of the caliper from deformation;
- Resistant to water washout;
- Protection against the effects of salt and dirt;
- Does not interact with brake fluids class DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Do not use with DOT 5.0 brake fluid
The grease will last until the next pad change.
When changing pads, you need to lubricate:
1. Non-working and end surfaces of the pads
The application of MC 1600 to the non-working sides of the pads prevents squeaking of the brakes. It is applied in a thin layer on the previously cleaned surface and its end parts.
Attention: Do not use on the working surfaces of brake pads and brake discs!
2. Guides
The treatment of the guides protects against corrosion, prevents jamming and facilitates assembly and disassembly. ...
Grease MC1600 is a professional tool,
requiring compliance with the rules of use: applied in a thin layer on clean surfaces.
3. Piston
Piston treatment protects against corrosion and prevents seizure of brake components. Grease is applied to the top of the piston under the cuff using a medical syringe.
CONSUMPTION 5 g of the MC 1600 is sufficient to process one set of pads.
APPLICATION KNOTS:
- caliper guides (layer thickness -0.1mm)
- non-working surfaces and ends of brake pads
- piston surface (layer thickness -0.1mm)
-elastomeric caliper cuffs (!)
- exhaust system connectors exposed to high temperatures
Squeaky brakes
When applied in a thin layer to the non-working side of the pads, the MC 1600 shifts the frequency range of the squeak to an area inaccessible to the human ear. The creak remains, but it is no longer heard.
Why do you need a caliper lubricant?
If the piston of the car is lubricated, it makes the brakes more responsive. Your braking distance is getting shorter.
Prevents the guides from wedging. By what means? Lubricants with an operating temperature of up to 200 ° C dry out or wash out after a couple of months. And the loss of mobility of the guide leads to increased wear of one pad, and four need to be changed. MC 1600 has been tested and received a technical conclusion from the Central Research Automotive and Automotive Institute "NAMI".
